Last minute trip with some friends and family and were surprised by how big and nice the room we got. Room was equipped with mostly everything we needed. Facility was very nicely maintained and very cozy home feeling. Somewhat strict on …
Cannot say enough good things about our stay. The staff here made our stay amazing, especially for my daughter's birthday weekend.
The room was in great condition and the pool and spa were great to relax in. I've stayed here twice now, in different rooms and the personal touches in each, makes the stay much better. Doesn't feel like just another hotel room.
Will definitely be staying here again.
Very comfy room like being at home. Very clean and great location. Staff very friendly and helpful suggesting surrounding places to visit. Waking up to 3 deer out the window was an added plus. Very dog friendly if you travel with a pet. Receptionist ended up being from my home town. Small world!
Very clean and well-maintained facility. Beautiful view from this 3rd floor unit. It was extremely quiet, as we went mid-week in January. Pet friendly. Comfortable bed and pillows. Visiting the beach in the winter can be great. We had nice weather.
Made a last minute trip to see a friend. Called for a reservation. The hostess gave me options for what I wanted. 👍🏼 she gave me a mini rundown of their rules, yes rules! I had to read and agree to them. I found it quite funny and was …
This was a decent place for what we paid, which was about $200/night. We got a double-queen room that was also pet-friendly (it was what they had left), and I was pleased to find no remnant pet smell. We still got the doggy welcome kit even though we didn't bring a dog, but it was nice to see the care they take to ensure that pet owners have what they need. It was a thoughtful touch.
The room was a bit dated but neat and clean. It was actually quite spacious and would have lodged four people comfortably. We really liked the full kitchen and the ability to keep snacks and drinks and prepare food for dining in. The bathroom was small but adequate. The beds were actual queen-sized and pretty comfortable, pillows were full, soft and not lumpy. We were on the third floor and were quite warm at night with the thermostat turned all the way down--there didn't seem to be any AC, just open windows. This was mid-September with lows in the mid-fifties. I'm sure being on the third floor made a difference.
One draw-back was the unfortunately poor sound insulation. I don't expect a lot from a hotel, but the first evening we had to listen to people having sex next door, and the second evening the folks on the other side had a deck full of company with a radio on, and the closed slider and TV on wasn't enough to block it out. I'm not sure if other hotels in the area are any better, it was just noteworthy for us.
They don't offer turn-down service, so if you like fresh towels delivered and a freshly made bed each night, this might not be your place, though you can get new towels from the front desk. We didn't mind it. They do ask you to start the dishwasher (reasonable) and take out your own garbage to the larger bins in the room down the hall, which was not inconvenient, just a little unexpected given they have a cleaning service. Not a huge deal though. The cleaning crew does a great job. Super neat and tidy.
The "deck" is just plywood but was sturdy though small--just two chairs, one on either side of the door. The view was nice in that we could see the ocean in the distance and also watched a deer family make their way across the grass and shrubs in the morning. I will say the beach access is great and super quick to town. Giving an extra star for location.
It was nice enough that I would stay again. I'm not sure how much nicer you get in this area for the price tag. If you travel with your dog, this could be a winner.
Loved staying here with my pup. Staff are amazing and provide excellent service. Everything is clean inside and outside and the indoor pool/hot tub provided a relaxing atmosphere. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with no dogs barking or making a fuzz.
FYI - you need rubber boots in winter to make it to the beach from the Inn. Also, WiFi is spotty, I knew that from the get go as they provide loads of communication prior to arrival.
10/10 planning on staying here again with my pup.
Stayed here late-Dec 2023, after a clam dig. Excellent scores on dog-friendliness: reasonable fee ($15), bowls and towels for dogs. Nice clean hotel, good people. We had 5 people and stayed in a condotel room, very comfortable. No hesitation about staying again. Pleasant walk to the beach.
